Turn your website into a reason people walk into the Redlands store
Your goal isn't a prettier site, it's foot traffic into 27 E. State St. We'll fix the structural and conversion issues our audit found, rebuild your Contact page around a visit, and lay the local-SEO groundwork — then get a real answer on why your Redlands rankings dropped before we talk about ongoing SEO.
What we heard on our call
- Foot traffic into the store is the #1 goal. Online add-to-cart is a nice-to-have, not the priority — you've said that from the start.
- The per-step pricing gave you pause. Another vendor quoted around $500 for similar fixes plus roughly $1,000/mo for SEO, and more than one person has told you SEO is the real problem, not the dev work.
- You want to know exactly what you're paying for, step by step, not a vague bundle — so this proposal is broken into the same steps we discussed.
- You're comparing a few more vendors and talking to your team before deciding, and expect to have an answer this week.
- Your view, which we agree with: fix the site's structure and conversion issues first, so that whatever SEO sends your way actually turns into visits and sales, rather than spending on traffic to a site that isn't ready for it.
Our approach
Two steps, in the order that protects your money.
1. Fix the foundation first
Technical cleanup and local-visibility work, so the site itself is pulling its weight — a clear path to "visit us," not just a prettier homepage.
2. Then find out why rankings dropped
A real look at your Search Console and Business Profile data, once we have access — not a guess from the outside looking in.
What's included
- Remove the duplicate Google Tag Manager container, coordinated with your SEO company so nothing breaks on their side.
- Image alt text sitewide, the truncated social-share title, the Designers-menu/footer mismatch, and the “excellençe” typo.
- Resized, optimized banner and product images for faster load on desktop.
- A Contact page rebuilt around a visit: map, hours, phone number, and a “book a visit” call to action.
- “Reserve in store” buttons on bridal and engagement product pages.
- Local-focused titles and copy on your homepage and top pages, built around Redlands — not “buy online.”
- Google Business Profile optimization and local schema markup, once you grant access.
- A written, prioritized recovery plan for the ranking drop, based on your actual Search Console and Business Profile data.
What we checked before quoting
Technical cleanup
GTM de-duplication, alt text, meta tags, menu/typo fixes and image optimization are routine Shopify admin and theme work — no plan restriction.
Local SEO foundation
Google Business Profile optimization, local schema and Redlands-focused copy work on any Shopify plan.
Diagnosing the ranking drop
We can only audit your public pages. Confirming why rankings actually fell needs Google Search Console and Business Profile access — without it, Milestone 3 is based on inference, not data.
Product filter cleanup
Shopify's filters can only use data that exists. If your POS only syncs price and stock (not category/type), better filters need manual tagging on top — not included in Phase 1 unless you want to add it.
True bridal “add to cart”
Shopify's native checkout isn't built for made-to-order bridal pieces; the realistic path is a deposit or custom-order app (an added monthly cost). Since this is your secondary goal, it's left out of Phase 1 — happy to scope it separately if you want it.

After launch: ongoing SEO
The three tiers we sent over right after the call. All are built around your goal — more local customers into the store — plus rebuilding your Redlands rankings.
| Tier | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Local Foundation | GBP optimization w/ weekly posts & photos, local listings clean-up, on-page SEO (up to 10 pages/mo), monthly GSC technical check, 2 blog articles/mo, monthly report. | $750/mo |
| Local GrowthRecommended | Everything above, plus a first-month investigation into the ranking drop + recovery plan, on-page SEO (up to 20 pages/mo), 4 blog articles/mo, 3–5 local backlinks/mo, product/store schema, review-building plan, competitor tracking. | $1,000/mo |
| Market Leader | Everything above, plus 6–8 blog articles/mo, 8–10 backlinks/mo, nearby-city landing pages, optimized bridal/engagement category pages, conversion tracking, monthly strategy call. | $1,500/mo |
Most clients see movement within 3–6 months. This can run alongside your current SEO company if you'd rather keep that relationship — we'll coordinate instead of duplicating work.
When is it done?
What we need from you
- Search Console + Business Profile access (add us as a manager) — this is what unlocks Milestone 3.
- Your SEO company's name and contact, so we coordinate instead of duplicating or conflicting with their work.
- What your POS system actually syncs to Shopify — category/type data, or just price and stock.
- Your monthly SEO budget, so we recommend the right retainer tier if you continue past Phase 1.
- Your preference for bridal/engagement pieces: true add-to-cart (needs a deposit app) or a simpler “reserve / request a quote” flow.
Relevant work
How we work
- Full-service agency. Marketing, SEO, design and dev under one roof — an in-house team based in Pakistan, with Abu as your single point of contact on every call and message.
- Full visibility. You'll always know where a fix stands; nothing disappears into a black box.
- Pay as it's delivered. Fixed-price milestones on Upwork, released only once you've reviewed and approved each one.
- Ad hoc work billed at $40/hr, same as your current maintenance arrangement, with an estimate before we start.
Next steps
- Grant Search Console + Google Business Profile access — or let us know if you'd rather start without it (Milestone 3 would then be based on inference only).
- Give the go-ahead on Phase 1 via Upwork; we'll set up the 3 milestones.
- Share your SEO company's contact and monthly budget so we can recommend the right retainer tier whenever you're ready for it.
